Automation solution of storage function of water management system
Aim of this paper is an effort give information expert public with created program tool SOMVS (Simulation and Optimization Model of Water Management System) and its application possibilities. The program allows automated solution water supply function of water management systems. Automation consists in assembly of the initialization matrices, assembly of the governing equations, in sequential solution of the governing equations and assembly of the dispatcher graphs of reservoirs. Process of automation users without special knowledge allows solving of optimal development tasks and optimal control tasks of water supply system. The program has intuitive graphical user interface for easier handling. Configuring of the water management system is made using codes numbers. Codes numbers allow enter any configuration of real water management system. As appropriate the program assemble of the simulation or optimization model of water management system. Models can be used for solving the optimal development tasks and optimal control tasks of water supply system. The graphical user interface users allow making necessary modifications of the program. The modification can be modifying method of control of runoff water from reservoirs in the simulation model and both models can be modifying the form of the criterial function. Modify criterial function allows the program use for other purposes such as hydropower function of the reservoir system.
